LINKS Monthly Meeting

Saturday March 10th – At the meeting Dr. Artis talked about Colon Cancer Month. Dr. Hart-Brothers informed everyone about the April 7th First Ladies Walk-a-Thon there were 25 participants at the meeting. Attendee(s): Dr. Hart-Brother MD, PhD and Dr. Artist

American Tobacco Trail (ATT) Walking Club

Morning Glory Senior Village

Saturday March 17th - Health Fair at the Morning Glory Senior center apartment homes off S. Alston Ave. Participants received blood pressure and glucose checks as well as spoke with health professionals on site. Attendee(s): Dr. Bright and Vivian Jackson, Mary Pointer, and Kacey Hanson

Morreene Road Health Fair

Saturday March 31st – Sharon Elliott-Bynum gave a Health awareness presentation for the Women’s Empowerment Breakfast Session with Natalie Cole. There were over 300 Participants. Attendee(s): Sharon Elliott-Bynum
