Project
Uplift
is a breast cancer prevention and education program
with emphasis on nutrition and exercise. This
project will involve local churches in Durham;
Faith Assembly Christian Center, Victorious Praise
Fellowship Church of God in Christ, and Abundant
Hope Christian Church. The focus of the project
is to educate African-American women about breast
cancer and prevention through physical activity
and nutrition education.
